ReBALKAN has an ambitious long-term vision, but the right way to assess a platform is to begin with what it can verifiably deliver today. This article separates future plans from the operating product and describes the live modules, active market, supported languages, technical capabilities and inactive areas as of 20 July 2026.
In short: ReBALKAN is an operating North Macedonia-centred platform that publishes property and vehicle listings in four languages, serves individual users and professional businesses on shared infrastructure, applies administrator review and can provide branded industry websites to businesses.

The shared data model matters. An approved listing can appear on the main marketplace and, according to permissions, on the owner's industry website without requiring a second listing database.
Supported countries: active market and prepared infrastructure are different
The active pilot market with published listing supply is North Macedonia. Country and routing records also exist for Kosovo and Albania, but neither should currently be described as a populated, actively operating ReBALKAN marketplace.

A country in the database is not the same as a live market. ReBALKAN deliberately distinguishes technical readiness from what users can actively use today.
Languages available today
The active languages are Turkish, English, Macedonian and Albanian. This goes beyond navigation labels. Listing titles, short descriptions and full detail text can be stored separately in all four languages. Blog articles, categories and tags can also have language-specific content and URLs.
Property listings
The property module supports rental, sale and daily-rental transactions. Apartments, houses, villas, commercial property and other defined types can be searched through transaction, location, type and feature data.
Users add price, location, type, features, original description and images. Once images are complete, the listing enters administrator review. Approved records become visible on public listing and detail pages. Owners can later manage price, publication date, location, titles and images, with renewed review where required.
Vehicle listings
The vehicle module supports rental, sale and daily rental. Brand, model, vehicle characteristics, price, location, images and text use a vehicle-specific data structure while sharing the core account, image, multilingual content and approval system.
Search can be narrowed through transaction type, brand, model, location and available characteristics. Housing and vehicles in one platform also create a practical connection: a person moving city or country may need both a home and a vehicle.
Individual users
Individuals can create an account, manage their profile, post property or vehicle listings, upload images, follow listing status, update their own content and remove a listing from publication. Pending, rejected, live and expired records are separated in the user area.
Users can save favourites and use the support/request flow. Profile images, contact information and phone verification are also parts of the current account architecture.
Professional businesses
Estate agencies, vehicle dealers, rental businesses and similar professionals use the same core account infrastructure to manage listings. Premium and business-oriented services can strengthen presentation and visibility.
The clearest professional capability is the UserSite system. A business can operate a branded website powered by ReBALKAN on a subdomain or configured custom domain. It does not create a disconnected database: permitted active listings are drawn from the same source, reducing duplicate entry and inconsistent updates.
How multilingual listing processing works
A user can submit original listing text in the language they know. That original is retained separately. During administrator review, titles, descriptions and detail content can be prepared in Turkish, English, Macedonian and Albanian.
The workflow is designed to use AI-assisted content processing, but it should not currently be described as unattended automatic translation. The administrator remains responsible for language-specific review and publication. The objective is meaningful, readable sector content rather than mechanical word substitution.
Administrator control
New listings enter review after image upload. An administrator can approve them or reject them with a defined reason. Controlled states also exist for price, image and language-title changes. Administrative actions are recorded, and profile images and selected account changes can also pass through control.
Moderation cannot guarantee that every listing is legally verified or error-free, but it reduces spam, unsuitable images, misleading titles and uncontrolled changes.
Filtering, performance and mobile use
Property results can be narrowed by transaction, category, location and features; vehicle results by transaction, brand, model, location and characteristics. The location system supports country, city, municipality and settlement levels while remaining flexible for different administrative structures.
Public queries normally show only active listings and order them using freshness information. Responsive layouts support desktop and mobile screens across public listings, details, accounts, administration and industry websites.
Selected stable data can use in-memory caching. Core listing queries are indexed around status, type and location. Images are designed for cloud object storage, optimisation and CDN delivery. Performance remains something to measure continually under real traffic, not a finished claim.
Current technical capabilities
ReBALKAN currently has an ASP.NET Core server application, central SQL data model, lightweight data access, cloud image storage, CDN delivery, image processing, caching and optional application telemetry.

These capabilities do not promise unlimited scale, but they provide a foundation that can add countries, languages and industry sites without rebuilding the entire product.
Industry-specific websites
A business website can have its own theme, logo, contact details, about content, slogan, modules and listings. Current views include home, about, contact, property lists and details, vehicle lists and details, and selected catalogue content.
Property category cards, latest property listings, vehicle brands, latest vehicles and promotional areas can be enabled as modules. The site presents the business's own brand while using permitted central ReBALKAN data.

From today to the future
The architecture can accept new languages, countries, listing types and business sites. Technical readiness alone does not open a market; every expansion needs local locations, language quality, category rules, moderation capacity, professional supply and actual demand.
